These opinions echo the fact that some airports are more water-efficient than others. According to one report, sustainable irrigation practices at Salt Lake City Airport in Utah reduced water consumption by 74% in 10 years, and the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport managed to reduce water use by 24% between 2011 and 2016. In addition, Los Angeles International Airport reduced water consumption by 6% over 1 year, while Orlando International Airport reduced it by 12% between 2010 and 2016.
