Which 1910-VONF Pressure Balancing Valve Do I Have?
Chicago Faucets currently has two versions of the 1910-VONF Pressure Balancing Tub and Shower Valve in the field.
Both perform identically and use the same cartridge.
A few repair parts differ between them, so it's important to confirm which version you have before ordering replacement parts.
Follow These Steps
Step 1: Check the Valve Body for a cUPC Stamp
Look at the valve body between the round cartridge assembly and the pipe port closest to it. You're looking for a small shield shaped mark with the letters "cUPC" inside it, stamped directly into the brass. This is easiest to check when the valve trim is already removed for service, since that's when the valve body is visible.
If that area is unmarked, you have the original valve (Valve 1)
If you see the cUPC shield stamp in that spot, you have the new valve (Valve 2).
Step 2: Order the Correct Parts
Once you've identified your valve, use the matching part number below. Everything else on the valve (body, nut, guard, o-ring, screws, washer) is not sold separately for either version.
